Australian airline Airnorth has signed a new multi-support agreement with Embraer.
The agreement provides comprehensive maintenance, repair and spare-parts support for Airnorth's Embraer E170 and E190 fleet under Embraer's pool programme.
“This agreement gives us confidence that our Embraer fleet is backed by world-class OEM support, with fast access to components and technical expertise when and where we need it," said Airnorth supply chain manager Bradley Norrish. "It also allows us to manage costs more effectively, reduce aircraft downtime.”
"Operating in some of the region’s most challenging conditions, Airnorth plays a vital role in connecting communities, and we remain fully committed to providing tailored, reliable support for its E-Jets,” said Embraer Services & Support president and CEO Carlos Naufel.
Embraer said the programme “delivers significant savings and economies in component repair and inventory holding costs”, whilst also reducing the need for warehousing.
