French newspaper Les Echoes has reported that Airbus is seeking partners to take on some of the financing and risk for the A230 NEO.
Airbus is expected to announce by the end of the year whether it will re-engine the A320. Any alliance could involve an engine manufacturer and aircraft structures manufacturer, says Les Echoes.
