AirAsia is reportedly close to finalising an order for around 100 Airbus A220 aircraft, according to a Bloomberg News report.
The low-cost carrier and Airbus are said to have agreed on key terms, with a possible announcement expected as soon as this week, although the timing remains subject to change.
If confirmed, the deal would represent a major narrowbody commitment for AirAsia as part of its expansion strategy. Neither AirAsia nor Airbus has formally announced the order.
