American Airlines and WestJet Airlines have enetered into an interline agreement, which means connecting passengers on both airlines will only need to buy a one ticket and check bags once.
Connections will start to Toronto, Montreal, Calgary, Vancouver, Halifax and Ottawa. The cooperation is expected to continue to include WestJet direct flights from the US to Canada in December.
