An American Airlines flight bound for SaoPaulo, Brazil, was forced to dump its fuel and return to DFW International Airport shortly after takeoff on Sunday evening when one of its engines caught fire.
The aircraft wasn’t able to dump its fuel quickly enough however before landing and it blew several tires upon landing due to the excessive weight. All 246 passengers on board were safely bussed back to the terminal.
