Xiamen Aircraft Leasing, an aircraft leasing company incorporated in the Xiamen Free Trade Zone, announces today that it has successfully concluded a sale and lease back agreement with China Southern Airlines, consisting of three A330-200 Aircraft.
Duan Xiaoge, chief operating officer of Xiamen Airlease said, “Even during these times of market un-certainty Xiamen Airlease has demonstrated that it has the technical and financial capability to analyse and support such a transaction, which marks the first wide-body operating lease for our expanding company.
We are extremely proud to have concluded this transaction with China Southern and look forward to completing more transactions in the future.” Mr Duan continues “This deal demonstrates our continued commitment to source quality assets, develop mid and end-of-life exit strategies for our clients and strengthen our relationships both locally and internationally. Xiamen Airlease is and will continue to be the leading mid-life lessor assisting with the recovery of China’s air transport market.”
Xiamen Airlease’s sale and lease back deal consists of three A330-200s, with DOMs 2005 (2 RR Trent 700) and DOM 2011 (1 PW4100). Lease terms vary from four to five years. With the completion of this transaction Xiamen Aircraft Leasing's portfolio has now increased to 54.
