Wright International launches new MRO partnership with Fiji Airways

Wright International, a subsidiary of FL Technics, has received approval from Fiji’s Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) to launch a new MRO partnership with Fiji Airways.

Under the partnership, Wright International will provide line maintenance services for Fiji Airways’ A350-900 and A330-200/300 aircraft at Vancouver International Airport (YVR).

The two companies said the partnership is a “significant step” for the Fijian flag carrier as it expands its operations in North America.

Founded in 1991, Wright International is a Canadian aircraft support company operating at Toronto Pearson (YYZ), Montreal-Trudeau (YUL), Ottawa (YOW), Calgary (YYC), Winnipeg (YWG), Vancouver (YVR), Halifax (YHZ), and Quebec (YQB) airports.

FL Technics Group, which acquired Wright International in 2020, is a global MRO provider with 23 subsidiaries across Europe, the Americas, and Indonesia.

The Group operates hangars in Lithuania, the UK and Indonesia, and is soon to open a new location in the Dominican Republic.
