World Fuel Services and its affiliates has received new certification for its renewable fuel, making it ISCC and RSB accredited in the United States, Singapore and across all locations in Europe where it is sold.
The award of Carbon Offsetting and Reduction Scheme for International Aviation (CORSIA) and EU trader certifications from the International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC) System are joined by Book and Claim certifications from the Roundtable on Sustainable Biomaterials (RSB).
“We believe that obtaining ISCC certifications is another critical step for us to accelerate the development of lower carbon fuel alternatives for our customers as we collectively strive to achieve decarbonization goals and targets,” explained Mike Ranger, senior vice president of supply – EMEA and Asia, World Fuel Services.
As a trader of RSB-certified fuels, World Fuel is one of the few logistics providers who can ensure the fuel is certified from when it is picked up at the producer’s gate to when it is delivered into the wing, adds the company.
