Willis Lease Finance Corporation (WLFC) has delivered its fourth ATR 72-500 to TAG airlines as part of a deal for four ATR 72-500 aircraft. The aircraft’s engines, which were covered by WLFC’s ConstantThrust programme, were overhauled and replaced with new Pratt & Whitney Canada PW127M powerplants.
Under the lease agreements, the four ATRs are included in WLFC’s ConstantThrust programme, which sees the lessor oversee the maintenance and care for the engines alongside providing replacements as applicable.
“We are thrilled to support TAG, our first regional ConstantThrust airline partner,” commented Austin Willis, chief executive officer of WLFC. “We value the relationship we continue to build with TAG, as it expands its service in Central America”.
