Wizz Air carried 1,485,281 passengers during November 2015 – a 25.5% increase compared to the year-ago period – on the back of a 24.6% increase in capacity to 1,777,080 seats. Passenger load factor rose by 0.6 percentage points to 83.6%.
On a rolling 12 month basis, Wizz Air’s passenger traffic rose 21.3% to 18,907,022 passengers with a 19.1% increase in capacity. Load factor was up 1,6 percentage points to 87.9% in the 12 months to November 2015.
Also during November 2015, Wizz Air signed its largest ever lease agreement for 11 Airbus A321ceo aircraft and expanded its fleet to 64 aircraft with the arrival of its first brand new A321ceo to its Budapest base in Hungary.
Wizz Air also announced further network expansion with two new routes from/to Romania and Lithuania, including the new destination of Palanga (Lithuania).
