Eastern European LCC Wizz Air is planning to develop a base in Tuzla, Bosnia-Herzegovina. The airline has held talks with the Bosnian Minister for Transport and Communication, Enver Bijedić, as well as officials representing both the airport and the regional government.
Wizz Air currently operates flights to Tuzla from Basle, Dortmund, Eindhoven, Gothenburg and Malmö.
If the new base is confirmed, it will be the airline’s third base in the former Yugoslavia after Belgrade in Serbia and Skopje in Macedonia.
