Austrian low-cost airline has revealed its passenger statistics for May 2019.
The airline posted a 19.8% increase in its capacity which stood at 3.697 million for the month, with its available seat Kilometres standing at 6.03 million, up 21.1% from the 4.959 million posted in the same month of 2018.
Its revenue passenger kilometres came in at 5.656 million, up 24.3% from the 4.55 million in May 2018.
The airline has announced a route network expansion with the start of nine new routes - with seven coming to and from Poland, as well as two coming to and from Ukraine.
Wizz Air has also opened its newest Polish base in Krakow with three based A320 family aircraft deployed in May, August and September in summer 2019.
