Wizz Air's passenger numbers increased 6.8% to 6.3 million in June 2025. This was supported by a 7.9% increase in capacity, though its load factor fell one percentage point to 92.8%.
The company said its load factor was negatively impacted by the geopolitical crisis in the Middle East as well as the late loading of Tel Aviv cancellation-driven replacements. Wizz Air is resuming flights to Tel Aviv from August 8, serving eight countries on 10 routes. The full return to service of 24 routes to 11 countries is expected to be deployed by mid-September.
On a rolling 12 month basis, the airline's passenger numbers increased 5.5% to 65.4 million. Capacity increased 4.2% with load factor increasing 1.1 percentage point to 91.1%.
