Canada's WestJet Airlines has begun a new nonstop daily flight between Portland International Airport (PDX) and Calgary International Airport (YYC).
"This nonstop flight between Calgary and Portland is the latest example of WestJet's investment in our home in Calgary," said Arved von zur Muehlen, WestJet chief commercial officer. "This new flight provides travellers in Western Canada and Northwestern US more options to get to fantastic destinations for both business and leisure. We are thrilled to be part of strengthening these ties between two important locations."
WestJet's nonstop flight to Calgary allows for convenient access to its western Canadian network where the airline will operate 145 daily flights from Calgary to 54 destinations including Edmonton, Winnipeg and Toronto among others.
