Canadian carrier WestJet has extended its strategic partnership with global airline services company APG in anticipation for its direct flights to Seoul's Incheon International Airport. APG will act as a representative at the destination, providing sales development, agent helpdesk support, and marketing initiatives.
""As we expand our network in Asia, we are excited to continue our partnership with APG Network. With their support, we are confident that our second route to Asia will be a success,"" said WestJet manager international sales. Todd Lindey.
""Our team in South Korea are very much looking forward to welcoming the first flight later this year and building up a strong base of agent support,"" added APG Network president Richard Burgess.
The Calgary-Seoul route will commence on May 17, 2024, at three times a week and serviced by its 787 Dreamliner aircraft.
