From May 2, WestJet plans to offer 10 flights every week day between Toronto, Montreal and nine between Toronto and Ottawa, as part of its plan to attract more business travellers.
The airline has also promised passengers that if flights on these routes are delayed more than 30 minutes, passengers will get 50% off their next ticket on the Toronto-Montreal or Toronto-Ottawa route.
The flights will operate at peak business times and depart from dedicated easy-access gates.
"This initiative demonstrates our commitment to offer the business traveller what they need in this important market," said Bob Cummings, executive vice-president of sales and marketing.
