Viva Aerobus' February 2023 passenger traffic increased 25.5% to 1.53 million passengers compared to February 2022.
The upsurge was "driven by an increase of 26.2% and 20.4% in domestic and international traffic, with load factors reaching 83.6% compared to 84.3% in 2022 and capacity in available seat miles up 25.5%.
“February traffic had a solid growth compared to 2022, reflecting the positive demand in both domestic and international markets. Given the robust environment, we continue our expansion efforts in the international market through our newly announced Monterrey-Bogota route, increasing our growth in the third largest international air traffic market for Mexico,” said chief executive Juan Carlos Zuazua.
