Vistara, the Indian joint-venture airline owned by Tata Group and Singapore Airlines (SIA), has appointed two new non-aviation directors to its board of directors; Som Mittal and Sangeeta Pendurkar. Adding these two senior figures in the Indian automotive and food and beverage sectors, respectively, earned the airline a capital injection of INR 2 crore ($29 million) in cash.
