Vietnam Airlines set to resume Hanoi-Laos-Cambodia route

Vietnam airlines is all set to resume the Hanoi (Vietnam)-Luang Prabang (Laos)-Siem Reap (Cambodia) route from July 1. The route was temporarily suspended due to pandemic. The flight frequency initially will be thrice a week on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and will increase to five weekly flights from October 30.

The airline already operates seven flights per week on route connecting Hanoi (Vietnam), Vientiane (Laos), Phnom Penh (Cambodia), and Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam).

Prior to pandemic, Vietnam airlines carried 400,000 passengers on its trans-Indochina. The carrier started operating flights to Siem Reap in 2000 and to Luang Prabang in 2006.
