Vietjet has posted nearly 50% growth rate in both revenue and pre-tax profit from its core aviation business, as announced in its 2018 financial statement.
The budget carrier posted $2.33 billion in revenue and $252.9 million in pre-tax profit last year.
Meanwhile, despite oil prices rising by 30%, the company’s revenue and pre-tax profit from its aviation transport was up nearly 50% as well year-on-year, as it posted $1.47 billion and $132.4 million, respectively.
