Vertical Aerospace has completed its first airport-to-airport flight by a full-scale piloted winged tilt-rotor electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft designed for commercial service.
The piloted VX4 prototype flew from Cotswold Airport to RAF Fairford. The prototype is now on display at the Royal International Air Tattoo being held from July 18 through July 20.
