Maintenance repair and overhaul (MRO) and mature aircraft asset specialist Vallair Group as chief commercial & marketing officer. Parant joins as the company expands its reach in aerospace and mobility.
“[Pascal] brings a depth of experience and industry knowledge that will not only help to guide and inspire our team, but also shrewd commercial insights as we embark upon an ambitious journey of expansion and innovation,” said Vallair Group president Gregoire Lebigot.
Prior to joining Vallair Group, Parant served as vice president corporate marketing at AAR Corp, a company he joined in 1999 and where he held several positions across MRO, parts trading, aircraft and engines sales & leasing.
Speaking to Airline Economics, Parant confirmed that there was “no bad blood” with AAR. Rather, he said Vallair presented a new opportunity that he wanted to take in the time until his retirement. He said that he wanted to “contribute to the super project” at Vallair, adding that he “shared their values”.
Parant added that he had notified AAR a month prior of his soon-to-be departure after nearly 26 years, allowing for a “smoother transition”.
