The US Airlines Pilots Association has denied it is behind a work slowdown by US Airways pilots, as the airline claims.
The union said it had reminded its members not to take part in any improper actions as contract talks dragged on.
US Airways sued the pilots union for allegedly encouraging members to stage a work slowdown by asking for increased maintenance and citing fatigue with the intended result of causing flight delays and baggage problems.
