US travel agency air ticket sales hit $8.7bn in April 2023, a 13% increase on the month in 2022,according to Airlines Reporting Corp. (ARC).
April 2023 was the fourth consecutive month of sales exceeding $8bn and the second month in a row when the average round-trip air travel ticket price declined, to $551, a year-on-year fall of $34.
