US real estate business Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield (URW) has appointed Dany Nasr as chief executive of URW Airports
“Dany’s extensive airport experience in North America and across the globe will strongly benefit our clients, partners and the communities we serve,” said Dominic Lowe, URW US chief operating officer.
URW Airports is the "exclusive" commercial developer and manager for the new US $9.5 billion Terminal One at John F. Kennedy International Airport, and has operations at Los Angeles International Airport and Chicago O’Hare International Airport, URW said.
Nasr joins from Canadian investment company CPDQ where was an operating partner working on "large infrastructure transport investments", according to URW. Nasr was previously North America chief executive at Swissport, estimated to be the world’s largest provider of aviation cargo and ground services.
