United Airlines' new Boeing 737 MAX 10 aircraft was spotted with a special livery at a paint shop at Washington's Renton Municipal Airport (RTN) in the United States. The new livery features colorful stripes and an engine tagline reading ‘The future is SAF’, promoting United Airline’s SAF program.
The 737 MAX 10 plane is yet to be handed over to United Airlines, as it is currently awaiting type certification from the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and is believed to be the fourth 737 MAX 10 test aircraft.
In 2022, United placed an order for 100 MAX aircraft and specified that out of the 100 planes, 80 would be the MAX 10 variant. This order was part of the airline's significant purchase, which also encompassed 100 Boeing 787 Dreamliners. According to Boeing orders and deliveries data, United has a total of 445 737 MAX family jets on order.
