A United Airlines flight bound for Denver International Airport was forced to return to Bradley International Airport in Connecticut following the plane losing a part of its engine cover liner. The United flight, operated on an A320 aircraft, had 124 passengers and five crew members on board, who were deplaned normally. A statement from United explained the situation, saying: ""Our flight from Bradley International Airport in Hartford to Denver International Airport returned safely to Bradley this morning to address an issue with one engine, and a portion of the engine’s sound-dampening outer liner was found on the runway."" United had arranged alternative flights to transport its customers to Denver.
