United Airlines has decided to cut its daily nonstop service between Boston and London Heathrow. There will be no service as of October 29 of this year. United launched the flight in 2022 and deployed Boeing 767-300 on the route.
The competition and lower airfare on the route are believed to have compelled United to cut the route altogether.
As per Cirium, United has made changes in its Canadian flight schedule from this fall till next spring. United will cut flights connecting the Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) to Montreal and Toronto. Th airline operated 93 flights as of last week, but will cut three flight this week onwards. Six monthly flights to Montreal will be cut October onwards, with just 261 flights instead of 267. November onwards the airline will reduce 22,80 seats between the two cities.
The airline has cut almost double the number of flights this week on the Newark Liberty International Airport-Toronto route, with almost 60 less flights in November.
The airline recently commenced Shannon – Chicago route from May 26, after a six-year hiatus.
