UNION REFUSES LATEST BA OFFER TO CABIN CREW

UK trade union Unite has said it will not recommend British Airways’ latest offer to its members, calling it a “step too far”. The new deal requires cabin crew to drop all outstanding legal claims arising from the dispute and gives the airline the right to withdraw travel concessions from staff in the future. A union spokesman said that BA’s acceptance of binding, independent, Acas arbitration, but the travel concessions remain the sticking point.

If the deal is rejected by members, Unite has stated it will not strike.
