Turkish Airlines extends its TrueChoice agreements on CF6 engines

Turkish Airlines and GE signed extensions to its TrueChoice Flight Hour and TrueChoice Overhaul agreements for the CF6-80E engines that power its fleet of seven Airbus A330 aircraft. Along with the maintenance, repair and overhaul services, GE Aviation will also partner with Turkish Airlines on leadership training as part of these agreements, which are valid until 2026.

"Turkish Airlines is one of the world's leading carriers that established its position through strategic investment in its fleet, product and network resulting in impressive passenger growth figures. With today's signing, we deepen our relationship with GE Aviation, one of the leading brands in the aerospace industry while we further enhance our overall engine performance,"said Dr. Temel Kotil Deputy Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Turkish Airlines.

"GE Aviation is proud to play an increasingly important role in Turkish Airlines' expansion plans, and these extended TrueChoice agreements will ensure the airline's engines receive the high quality OEM maintenance, repair and overhaul workscopes to keep them flying long into the future," said Kevin McAllister, president and chief executive officer of GE Engine Services.
