Turkish Airlines has commenced flights to Melbourne, its first Australian destination, making it the only European airline to serve the city.
Three weekly flights will operate from the airline’s home hub of Istanbul, via Singapore Changi International Airport. “The inauguration of our Melbourne route is a testament to our growing influence in the Asia-Pacific region,” commented Prof. Dr. Ahmet Bolat, Turkish Airlines chairman of the board and the executive committee.
