TUI shares listed on Frankfurt Stock Exchange, removed from LSE

TUI AG shares have been included in the MDAX on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange as of June 24, 2024. According to the index provider ISS STOXX, “TUI meets the free-float market capitalisation criterion. The tourism group is thus returning to the German share index after around nine years”. The tourism group's shares are also now included in the European STOXX Europe 600 Index. The British index provider FTSE Russell is no longer including the TUI share in the FTSE250 Index since June 3. However, the listing and trading on the London Stock Exchange remain unaffected. The last trading day of TUI on the London Stock Exchange was 21 June, 2024. “We want to grow successfully, sustainably and profitably and TUI should remain an attractive long-term investment for current and new shareholders,"" said CFO Mathias Kiep. “With the listing in the MDAX, we are putting a clear focus on one stock exchange listing – instead of two previously. This increases the visibility and attractiveness of our share for investors. Our shareholders voted by a large majority in favour of changing the dual listing structure – we are now successfully completing this step with our inclusion in the MDAX. “The UK market remains one of TUI's key markets, and the change of listing from London to Frankfurt does not change this.”
