TUI has expanded its maintenance partnership with Joramco, in which Joramco would provide heavy maintenance checks on TUI’s Boeing 787 aircraft. Previously Joramco had successfully carried out maintenance checks on TUI’s narrowbody 737 and Embraer fleet.

Commenting on the occasion, Joramco CEO Fraser Currie, said: “We at Joramco are proud to continue building on our strong relationship with TUI Group, who has been a valued customer for several years, trusting us to perform maintenance on aircraft flown into our facilities in Jordan from both the UK and Sweden. We were delighted to welcome Boeing 787s from Europe for the first time, which further reaffirms Joramco’s high quality of service and our globally recognized capabilities.”

Speaking on the company’s latest agreement with Joramco, TUI’s Director of Engineering and Maintenance, Geert Somers, said: “We are pleased to expand our partnership with Joramco, a trusted MRO provider with state-of-the-art facilities and world-class service excellence. Our experience over the past few years has been a positive one, and we are pleased to be announcing this new agreement, which was carried out with the same superior service that we have come to expect from Joramco.”

TUI Group operates five European leisure airlines, with a combined fleet of over 130 aircraft.
