TrueNoord has successfully delivered two new ATR42-600s to Alliance Air on a long-term operating lease. The aircraft will serve the domestic routes in India, focussing on the challenging airfields in the Himalayas. The aircraft was funded by TrueNoord’s new warehouse facility with Citibank, Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking, Royal Bank of Canada, and NORD/LB.

As per Alliance Air the ATR42-600 can operate with fewer payload restrictions than the ATR72 and lower trip costs thus offering more flexibility and higher profitability on these underdeveloped routes
Alliance Air is TrueNoord’s second customer operating in India along with IndiGo. The successful deliveries of these aircraft have marked the expansion of TrueNoord’s footprint Indian aviation marketplace.
