As final preparations are made for the opening of its second terminal, figures from the Irish Aviation Authority show air traffic down 2% for September. Air traffic for the 2010 is down 10% however.
September traffic at Shannon and Cork airports was also down by 29% and 9% respectively. Traffic through Irish airports is decline, albeit more slowly than before, even though traffic through its airspace rose 6% last month.
