TP Aerospace has signed a new all-inclusive wheels and brakes support programme for the 737 MAX family aircraft with new UK ACMI airline Ascend Airways — an Avia Solutions Group company.
TP Aerospace said the deal will offer Ascend Airways the “most ideal solution”, allowing it to, “enjoy both financial and operational benefits via easy to budget pricing coupled with a high degree of operational flexibility and security”.
“Backed by our global network and strategically positioned facilities we are well-equipped to deliver seamless support and enhanced operational efficiency for Ascend Airways' expanding 737 MAX fleet and route network in support of their very diverse customer base,” said TP Aerospace vice president, global programme sales Philip Broskov Hansen.
Ascend Airways head of supply chain Alastair Johnson commented: “As our fleet continues to expand, we are looking forward to working together with TP Aerospace on their all-inclusive programme. This partnership supports our 737 MAX fleet, highlighting the importance to Ascend Airways of product reliability and with the flexibility to support our ACMI operations in worldwide locations.”
Service and support will take place from TP Aerospace's UK site in East Midlands, with the programme having already started.
