American Airlines Chairman, President and Chief Executive Tom Horton has been elected as chairman of oneworld.
Horton succeeds Gerard Arpey following his decision to retire from the carrier.
Tom Horton's nomination was made at the oneworld Governing Board's final meeting of the year, held in New York, where the alliance's headquarters has been based since June.
A4A names Shaver as director of cargo services
Airlines for America (A4A) named Elizabeth Shaver as director of cargo services. She will join A4A in January from Delta Air Lines.
