Titan Aviation Leasing, a joint venture between Atlas-owned Titan Aviation Holding and Bain Capital, has acquired two converted Airbus A330-300 passenger-to-freighter (P2F) aircraft from Airbus Financial Services.
Both aircraft, which are powered by Rolls-Royce engines, are now on long-term lease to mas, a cargo carrier based in Mexico.
The closing of the transaction marks Titan’s first acquisition of an Airbus freighter.
It is also the first acquisition using Titan Aircraft Investments II, DAC (TAI 2), the company’s second dedicated freighter aircraft investment platform, launched with Bain Capital earlier this month.
Titan said the aircraft's versatility and efficiency make it ideal for supporting mas’s growing regional and international freight operations.
