Statistics from the CAAC Tibet Autonomous Regional Administration, show that the region’s airports served 17.8% more passengers in the first quarter of this year compared to the same period last year. Some 679,000 people traveled through Tibet, with 7,444 aircraft movements. 4,969 tonnes of cargo and mail were handled during the period.
