Tap Air Portugal launches Porto-Luanda direct flights

TAP Air Portugal recently launched direct flights between Porto and Luanda, marking the airline’s second service to Angola as a part of its summer schedule. The airline has deployed its A330neo on the route and will operate twice weekly, on Wednesday and Sundays.

Ricardo Dinis, Country Manager for the UK, Ireland & Nordics, TAP Air Portugal said: “We have flown to Luanda from Lisbon since 1957 and have seen the potential for greater opportunities in this market so we know customers will welcome the launch of our new twice-weekly service from Porto. With now two routes to choose from with TAP for travel to the Angolan capital, we believe we can offer a great new alternative service from Portugal’s second city to the growing Port city of Luanda.”

TAP Air Portugal offers more than 1,230 flights per week across Europe and around the world, serving seven airports in Portugal, 10 in North America, 12 in Central & South America, 20 in Africa and the Middle East, and 44 in Europe.
