SWISS takes delivery of first A350-900

Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS), a Lufthansa Group airline, has taken delivery of its first A350-900 from Airbus. This marks the first of 10 such aircraft that are scheduled for delivery.

The widebody will support the airline's fleet modernisation programme. The A350 will be operated on long-haul routes from its home base in Zurich to destinations such as Boston, with the airline aiming to strengthen its global network.

The aircraft is configured with four seats in first class, 45 in business, 38 in premium economy, and 156 in economy.
