Swiss International Air Lines to fly first CSeries

It has been reported that Lufthansa subsidiary Swiss International Air Lines could be the first airline to fly the Bombardier CSeries. Lufthansa has 30 CS100s on order but had previously said it wouldn’t serve as first operator of the new aircraft.

Bombardier, Lufthansa and Swiss have not confirmed these rumours, however. Although Bombardier has confirmed is that the first operator of the CSeries has been decided but will only be revealed when the customer is “ready to do so.”
