Sunrise Airways has expanded its executive team with the appointment of Rafal Orlowski to the position of Commercial Director. A native of Poland, Orlowski carries more than 18 years of aviation industry experience directing sales, revenue management, and commercial development for such notable European carriers as LOT Polish Airlines, Centralwings, OLT Express Poland.

Orlowski began his career in aviation with LOT Polish Airlines, serving as an analyst and systems administrator specializing in market forecasting, competitive business analysis, and route optimization. He later moved to Centralwings, Ltd., initially serving as route development manager before being promoted to director of sales. In his three years as commercial director with OLT Express Poland, Orlowski was instrumental in restructuring the airline, advancing the business model from a strictly charter operation to include a mix of regularly scheduled service and charter business.
Orlowski’s broad experience in aviation also includes several consulting projects supporting C-level managers in the areas of market analysis, sales, and revenue management.
