Sun PhuQuoc Airways has ordered up to 40 Boeing 787 Dreamliner jets.
“We chose the Boeing 787-9 not only for its outstanding operational performance, but also because it is the most suitable aircraft to realize our vision of taking Phu Quoc to the world and bringing the world to Phu Quoc,” said Sun Group chairman Dang Minh Truong.
The airline said the deal represents a $22.5bn partnership and supports Vietnam-US bilateral trade.
