Italian carrier and Lufthansa subsidiary, Air Dolomiti, Carried 1.7 million passengers during 2013 – an increase of 8.7% over last year. The carrier’s load factor was 70%.
The results attest, says Air Dolomiti, that its new business model to operate as a hub feeder carrier for Lufthansa and provide point-to-point services appears to have been accepted by the market.
Air Dolomiti will launch Munich-Milan Bergamo flights starting this summer; it also plans to increase frequencies from Munich to Venice to five daily flights from four, and up the three daily flights from Munich to Florence to four.
