Austrian Airlines is set to face another day of operational disruption as the latest round of unresolved strike action has caused the cancellation of 110 flights so far.
Labour union Verdi has announced a security staff strike at a number of German airports, set for March 14, with the Board works council and vida trade union also requesting another works meeting for the same day; necessitating ‘adjustments to the flight schedule’.
Passengers will be contacted about the status of their booking and the options for rebooking, notes the airline, which urges customers to check their flight status on its website or the Austrian app.
