Aircraft investment specialist and asset manager Stratos has delivered an A330-300 aircraft to Amazon. The aircraft will undergo passenger-to-freighter (P2F) conversion to support Amazon's continued expansion in dedicated air cargo operations.
Stratos said the transaction highlights its “deep expertise” in placing mid-life widebody aircraft and its, “commitment to meet rising demand from airlines for fleet adjustments in a highly constrained market".
The A330-300 was formerly operated by Corsair.
“This placement showcases the strength of Stratos' global network and our ability to source and dispose of high-quality assets tailored to the evolving needs of our clients,” said Stratos CEO Gary Fitzgerald. “The A330 P2F market continues to gain momentum."
