Starlux plans new routes for its latest A350-900

Starlux Airlines will place its latest Airbus A350 aircraft received in October 2022 for commercial operations from its hub at Taipei Taoyuan International Airport to Bangkok and daily flights to Macau and Tokyo.

There are currently two Airbus A350-900s in Starlux Airlines’ fleet, with another 16 on order. The airline will receive its second A350 in the next few days, with both the aircraft entering service from January 20, 2023.

The Starlux Airbus A350-900 comes with a 306 seat, four class configuration.

Meanwhile, the airline recently commenced direct flights from Taipei to Cebu, to offer more options for passengers travelling to Taiwan for the Chinese New Year.

Welcoming Starlux to Cebu, Rafael Aboitiz, director of GMR-Megawide Cebu Airport Corp said: “The addition of Starlux reinforces our commitment in establishing more connectivity for our passengers and the luxurious experience that Starlux offers also helps us in bring more options and better passenger experience. We are grateful and looking with much anticipation as we welcome Starlux into our network."

Starlux currently serves T15 routes including Tokyo, Osaka, Fukuoka, Okinawa, Sapporo, Macau, Penang, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Singapore, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, Hanoi, Manila and Cebu.
