StandardAero, a US-based provider of aerospace engine aftermarket services, has named Gregory Krekeler as president of its component repair services (CRS) business.

The new CRS president will be based in Cincinnati, Ohio, and will report to Kim Ernzen, chief operating officer at StandardAero.
In a statement, StandardAero said that Krekeler will bring to the position more than 20 years’ experience in aerospace and defense.
During the past three years, Krekeler has served as vice president and general manager of StandardAero's facility in Maryville, Tennessee.
Previously, he spent almost two decades in global engineering, supply chain and procurement leadership roles in the US and UK, including with Boeing.
Krekeler holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA), a Master of Science (MSc) in Aerospace Engineering, and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Aerospace Engineering.
