StandardAero is now offering LEAP-1A and LEAP-1B engine leasing services to support customers of the A320neo and 737 MAX fleets.
The engine MRO provider said it has partnered with major global engine lessors to make short-term lease engines available. The company said this will support airlines to continue operations while their engines undergo maintenance. The new offering is part of the company's total engine asset management (TEAM) portfolio.
“By facilitating the availability of lease engines during MRO shop visits, StandardAero is able to help customers maximise the operational availability of their aircraft, thereby minimising the overall cost impact associated with maintenance events,” said Standard Aero senior vice president — sales, marketing and customers Will Pitcher.
The company’s 810,000 sq. ft. San Antonio facility provides both LEAP quick-turn shop visit and LEAP performance restoration shop visit services, supported by test cells which have been correlated for both engine variants.
